Thanks for updating this already great app. But please give us the option to highlight only unobserved items from a viewing list.

Ive tried several astronomy apps and always keep coming back to this one. Wonderful UI, tons of good info, and so easy to understand. The gold standard!

Does everything. We use it at a busy outreach observatory. Does a great job at keeping info organized and for pointing the scopes.

This is a great app for learning about and investigating what you see in the night sky. All kinds of info on the objects many too faint to even be seen by an amateur telescope. Also a great way to control your scope if compatible. I just tap an object, hit goto and my scope slews to the object. Love this app!

I wasnt sure if I wanted to purchase another planetarium application for my IPhone. But I took the leap and bought it - and I sure am glad that I did. I havent used all the features of the application yet - but for what I have used - this is the best planetarium application I have used!

Downloaded all of them. Explored them. Use them in the field. This one is the best

This is an excellent product.

Possibly the best astronomy app available. Does everything I would want it to, and several things I wouldnt have thought to want it to do, but like. One suggestion: the ability to write a brief notes about stars added to observation lists. Top-notch all around.

I use this app almost every time I go star gazing, it offers a plethora of relevant and useful information.

Not being a professional by any means, I cant comment on the finer points of this app. That said however, let me just say that it has provided me with countless hours of educational entertainment. Im sure I purchased more "app" than I need at the present time, but when considering the reference base and technical capabilities, I call it a high value purchase, even at full price.

After spending hours turning off and on switches and settings in my new 12" IPad, the only conclusion I can draw is that the 12" IPad has so many new wireless features that its actually full of bugs in its software and is incompatible (wont work correctly) w/Sky Safari Pro 5, which is the only reason I bought it. Either that, or Sky Safari hasnt updated its software for the 12" IPad. And yes, my old 9" IPad runs fine with its compass right beside it so it is Apples new 12" IPad that has bugs, or Sky Safari Pro 5.

This program is good but I constantly have a problem with calibration. While using it, I put my iPad down for a minute. When I pick it back up, many times, the same area I was looking at is WAYYYYY off. Im talking maybe 90* off! Sometimes its so bad that I have to shut the program down and restart...a few times! I wish there was a way to manually calibrate. Even when I restart the program, its way off and I have to HOPE that the auto calibrate kicks in.

Best feature for me... the fly outs to the celestial objects to help along the imagination... not only do you see accurate positioning of stellar objects on earth, you can view how they look from another vantage point in our galaxy.

Since upgrading to iOS 10 on iPhone 6, when compass is activated, not only is compass calibration off, but the azimuth view keeps hunting. Clearly something is up with the compass code. Any fix would help

Worth the money. Like another reviewer, I have some calibration issues with the app too but very minor.

Very detailed and accurate app. Fast and with lots of information about everything.
